MecArmy Lights?

Update: my MecArmy SGN3 has been in my right front pocket - by itself - for one month as of today. It has turned on in my pocket a total of four times.

As much as that annoys me, if I look at the positive side, two of those times were in the first week, so '"only" two more times in the past 3+ weeks.

I got a IllumineX-1 during the holidays but mine was defective. The battery would drain over the span of a day - even without using it. Every time I tried to use it, it was dead

I sent it back and the replacement has been perfect. It's been in my front pocket (joined at the hip with my SAK Classic) since I got it. I always make sure it's unscrewed enough so it doesn't accidentally turn on in my pocket - I just press on the head a bit to make sure it doesn't turn on. Love this little thing...

One thing I did noticed - the defective one had black 0-rings but the replace one has translucent ones.

I can see how you could accidentally turn the SGN3 on when it's in your pocket.

If my little MecArmy SGN3 has a lockout function, I am not aware of it. If somebody has information on this, PLEASE let me know!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been using the MecArmy SGN3 that I bought in December 2015 on a near daily basis ever since, and it is still going strong! It turns on in my pocket occasionally, but since it's USB rechargeable, that hasn't been a big deal.

The rechargeable battery is still going strong. To say that I'm happy with it would be an understatement.

I have a Olight i3E EOS on my keychain and its AAA and 100 lumens and lasts over an hour without dimming. Really bright with a lithium battery. I love it. Only $11 on Amazon and its not much bigger than the battery.

Not what you are asking about but I have had really good service from the Maratac lights from Countycomm. They just put up a new copper AAA and Ti AA at good prices and they have the Nichia 209 led.

I have an i3E, too. Doesn't everybody? I use mine several times a month, but I use my MecArmy SGN3 daily.
