Mechanic's Tools

RE Craftsman vs. Snap on, does Craftsman have cobalt in it's wrenches because Snap on does and the flank drive system works well and they fit bolts and nuts very well where *sometimes* a craftsman doesn't I can feel the differences through my hands. Nope, do they innovate like Snappy? Nope, is their catalog ANYTHING at all like Snap on's?

To be fair i have to agree the price of alot of Snap on stuff is irritatingly high, and the reps [truck men] know it.
 
You pay retail on yours? I just refuse to buy anything at full price. He don't like when you buy nothing:)
 
I'll tell ya I love making them not like it also. I like toi be creative and that extends into my tools and equipment. With formulating [fabricating] alot of my own stuff, evilbay, craigslist, and good old yard sales the tool empires are doing alot less damage to my wallet. :cool:
