I'm looking for a folder for edc carry and for mild showing off:D It should have a 3-4" blade, excellent steel, synthetic materials, a pocket clip, and should preferably not draw gasps from nearby sheeple. I already have a griptilian, but I want something with the same functionality, only with a bit more showoff factor (I love my grip, but IMO, the handle is a let-down, feels kinda cheap and is rough pulling in and out of pockets). I'll spend up to $120, but if I can get away with something cheaper, that would be cool.

Any suggestions, on knives or manufacturers?

A Kershaw G-10 Tyrade! Check it out. Black and orange are currently available, with tan and blue at the end of this month. Under $100 shipped.

While the steel isn't exactly top-of-the-line in terms of stainless, there is a certain wow-factor that comes along with the Benchmade Nagara.

If you like the Griptilian, you might consider a set of Kevin Wilkins G-10 slabs. They come in different colors, and are also available in titanium and aluminum. Moore Cutlery has them in stock. They're not something you'll see everday. They're a little pricey, but still in your general ballpark. Fit and finish is excellent.

Another  for the Kershaw G-10 Tyrade. A whole lotta knife fer yer money! Composite blade of 154CM spine and a CPM-D2 cutting edge.

The Benchmade Dejavoo is an extremely smooth opening knife. S30V, smooth g10 handle, TI and stainless liners, a very nice knife for about 115 shipped.
Can you tell its my EDC?

Last summer I bought a Beretta BH Tactical directly from Beretta online. They do still have them and they come in two sizes ( $104 for lg , $99 for sm).

IMO they're a fantastic bargain, especially if you want the wow factor at an affordable price. They're made in Italy and designed my William Harsey. They're very similar to the Lone Wolf Harsey knives , but I think they're even better. The liner is extra thick and made of titanium with G10 scales, the blade is cpms30v SS.

Heres a few pics of my knife (top knife - next to a mini commander)

Another good choice for "wow" factor in your price range would be the various Mcustas. Great EDC with a lot of class.

I will give another
+1 to a damascus Mcusta. When I show mine to non-knife people, that one always brings in high marks.

Much more so than any of my BM or Spydies in the same price range.

Spyderco Military in Orange. You can have those for $120.00 and it's a good looking knife. I oooo and ahhhh when I see them.

And if you can find one, the Spyderco Manix is always an impressive knife to look at. Probably gonna cost ya more than $120.00 though. But well worth it IMHO.
