Other than in your pack, where do people put their med kits. I want it on me but it won't fit in my butt pack or on my waist due to other gear being there (ie: gun, ammo, etc.)

I saw that the tactical tailor has a drop leg med bag. Anyone use this? Also I'm considering one of those dump/demo drop leg bags by blackhawk, etc. What are your thoughts and suggestions? Thanks

Where you put or where you WANT to put it will mostly depend on your mission. If you want to hump15-20 kilometers through the woods, I would want the least amount of junk on my legs (the med kit from TT) but if you are part of a raid team taking down a crack house that might be the heat. Go over to TacticalForums.com,they have a Tactical Emergency Medical forum that if you checked out would prob answer most/all your questions. Good luck

I really like my drop leg med pack, I got it from one of the swat/tactical websites. Med supplies are fairly light, and there is something to be said for having them all in one place and immediately available. Never bothered me on long hikes. I was a Wilderness First Responder so I like to carry a lot of first aid gear, and normally had a nice sized kit in my pack. A leg pak was a good solution for me, I also keep my compass and map in the outside pocket
