Since you asked,,I'll try to answer,,I hope you'll take this in the spirit in which it's meant. :)

In the history of the forums I don't believe anyone sends stuff bttt more than you. After about the 3rd time it becomes irritating to most people and they stop looking. While its true that a year ago Mayos were selling almost instantly,,they're not now. My advice would be to spend a little more time hanging out on the forums to get a feel for how things are done and for to keep a constant feel for what makers are hot. Then,,post your items and reduce the price if they don't sell. If after 1 or 2 bttt's you still don't have a sale, consider adding a better photo. If still no action by the 3rd bttt,,let it die and go to Ebay. Just some suggestions.

Hope this helps.

:)

Notdos- thanks for input-

It as been my experience that whether or not something sells depends on who looks. I have sold things after 20 BTTTs, and after making such a discovery have been BTTTing.Perhaps you are right,I should go to e-bay.

Thanks again.

 Oh no wait, this post deserves two of these

 is right. I remember when BF was for people who actually gave a ****. Maybe ya'll should go start a thread about "which sharpener is the best" or "who loves Sebenzas" next.
Thank God for ignore.

Five years on this forum has taught me several things I will pass on for what it is worth-
1. With the dip in the economy most people offer trades rather than cash.

2. Not everyone checks the knife forums daily some check only on weekends, others haphazardly.

3. While I do not yet know how knives fare on e-bay, this and several other forums are most closely watched by likely knife consumers.

4. I do appreciate NOTDOS's post and advice, and may try e-bay, BUT the knives I have been trying to sell began to sell almost immediately after his post- moreover knife forumites tend to be honest upfront people and almost all trades and sales and porchases have been without hitch nor hassle.

5. Why certain knives become the rage, only to see lots sold is unpredictable-fortunately there is room at the table for all.

Have a safe and fun weekend !!

Mike
