They should be close to their advertised spec(give or take a couple thou for manufacturing tolerances) but, I wouldnt worry its probably a good thing that its thinner. Their blades are generally way too thick for any practical application anyway imo. There are hard use knives made of thinner stock, at two or three times the blade length, that are near impossible to break even with abuse(Busse/Kin, Survive!, Esee, Kabar/Becker, CPK, exc.). There comes a point when its just silly and it greatly lowers cutting performance(no matter the geometry), adds a ton of weight, and all with no practical benefits. Medford is past that point imo. YMMV of course.
