It appears that way to me, opens smooth, locks up solid, lock is a little sticky but graphite helps and would prolly be fine after break in. Slices paper like a champ. Tanto tip, with tumbled pvd coating on D2 blade. Flamed show and lockside. Upgraded titanium hardware, nice looking blade. comes with the pelican case, and box.
