Catch & Release...
Recently picked this up here ( in the customs Thread ). This is a solid knife, just more than I need in a folder.
I believe I’m the 3rd owner ? The member I bought it from mentioned that it just came back from the Medford SPA for a tuneup. The knife is a tank, yet still capable of fine cutting ( verified on receipt paper and some arm shaving- it’s razor sharp , with a nice polished edge ). The action is still in need of “breaking in” , can be opened and closed one handed without issues (very smooth once the detent is broken). The knife will come with all of the factory swag : pelican case, dog tag , warranty papers, instructions , and a nice plastic card with Greg Medford’s information.
This knife appears to me as new. I’m not a collector , or any sort of expert on Medford knives.
There are typical marks on the titanium handle from carry , the blade has crisp - early lock up with NO PLAY. This thing sounds like a handgun being cocked when in opens. Solid as a rock.
Blade is stonewashed D2 , about 3.6 long , .19 thick , hollow ground with a swedge ( immaculate symmetry on the grinds !) , back spacer is D2 , scales are solid titanium , bronzed & about .19 thick.
