I’m thinning out my knife collection. I love these knives for their beauty and artistry, but this is a lot of money sitting in my safe. Each knife will ship quickly with full insurance. For the more expensive knives, PayPal fees and shipping will cost me about $30, so I have to take that into account. I am open to negotiating within reason. Have a Happy New Year, everyone! Thanks for looking!
Medford USMC Fighter Flipper—Tumbled Magnacut—Blue Anodized Titanium—Black Hardward and Clip (Asking $700. $960 new.)
I bought this never used from someone who had just bought it from DLT Trading. It was manufactured in August 1, 2022, meaning that its Magnacut is brought to 63 HRC. It’s not an older model heat treated to 59 as were the earlier Medfords in Magnacut. I put a lower angle convex grind on it and it performs very well. There are some minor snail trails on the handle (one is more prominent on the show side towards the pivot and a picture picks it up well) and some scuffing where the swedge meets the hollow grind towards the tip. I have tried to capture every imperfection as clearly as possible in photos. Comes with original box and paperwork.
Medford Praetorian G/T Drop Point—Tumbled S45VN—Coyote G10 and Gray Titanium—Bronze Hardware and Gray Clip (Asking $475 $685 new)
I bought this brand new from DLT Trading. I sharpened it to about 15 DPS and it slices wonderfully. I’ve carried it a few times but never cut anything but paper with it to test my edge. I swapped the original bronze clip for a gray clip that matches the knife perfectly. I have another Praetorian that’s bronze, but had a gray clip, so I swapped clips so that each clip matches. If you’d like the original bronze clip, I’d be happy to unswap. But I can assure you, the swap improves both knives. Comes with original box and paperwork.
CKF Eagle Rock with Red Carbon Fiber and S90V (Asking $540. $640 new) SOLD
Like New. Carried less than 5 times. Cut paper a few times to test my ~17 DPS edge. I took it apart recently to tighten the clip and, in the meantime, cleaned the internals thoroughly. I always thought it hadn’t been living up to its smoothness potential. After putting it back together, it is now doing so. Perfectly centered. Comes with ID card, all extra parts, and original pouch.
We Knives Thug XL, 20CV, Shredded Carbon Fiber and Titanium (Asking $275. $359 new)
Like New. Carried a few times. Probably cut paper twice. Beautiful blade with an awesome, hollow grind and mesmerizing carbon fiber handle. Just not a style of blade that I often use. Comes with WE Knives pouch.
Paragon Phoenix, Flat Dark Earth Aluminum, S30V (Asking $220. Discontinued, but $260 new) SOLD
I’ve spent quite some time perfecting the straight edge on this double-edged knife. Both sides are very sharp. This is the first generation of this knife. It has the blade play that some find annoying which is typical of this generation. I still prefer this generation to the new one, though, since the new ones are single-edged, which negates the incredible possibilities that this style of knife has. Since the handle encloses the blade, you can have a double-edged blade in a non-OTF. This specific knife has minor wear on the blade coating which naturally develops as it touches the handles when deploying. The only other thing to note is that it has some wear on the clip and the clip, though seated snugly, appears not to be seated perfectly in the cutout. This doesn’t affect its secureness, though, but I want to mention and highlight every flaw.
Redencion 229 Kickstop, Carbon Fiber (Asking $275. $410 new???)
I’m not sure what online retailer I bought this knife from and I can’t find this exact variation, so I can’t tell you what I paid for it, unfortunately. I’ve barely touched this knife since I loved the micarta version and put this one directly in the safe. It’s so like new, I believe it still has an untouched factory grind.
