Smoke and prayers for you and your family Yvsa, personally I'd go with what would give me more time, I deal with pain on a daily basis and I can ususally tolerate the pain and have managed to not let the meds rule my life.
Search deep my friend and you will find the answer seek.
Hay Yvsa,
At least you're still sucking air... Sure are alot of people that we both knew that are not. Since I last saw you in Reno I've come close to taking the long walk myself several times. So, like you, I'm still at it if all but the worse for ware.
Hang tough Bud,
Dan
Hey, Yvsa, just sitting here thinking about you. I hope the big one goes well. I wish my Heather had gone the fusion route the first time instead of two micro-discectomies THEN the fusion. Her back is still a wreck. Do what you have to do to get some relief. Suffering chronic pain is no way to live. I'd think I'd rather have 75 relatively pain free years than 80 years of agony. Being free of pain might very well be worth the risks. Know that we're all thinking of you and wishing you the best. Get well soon, brother.
