I'm a nube, and I've been looking into taking a survival school and I was wonder if any of you have been to, or have an opinion on to which the Medicine Bow survival school is a good class. Seems to be decent from the site and its $125 for two days. Would like some input if it is a good class or if there are better ones in the GA area.

Mark Warren is first class in terms of knowledge, particulary plant uses of the Cherokee of which I have spent time in the field and corresponded with him.

I don't know what he teaches in his survival courses, but he has a straight forward approach and I would expect it money and time well spent.

I know he will be at the upcoming Hemlock Festival in Dahlonega at the beginning of November if you want to meet him first. You can google it for info.

I'm thinking about taking the January survival class myself. Found out about Medicine Bow around this time last year, but I've yet to take a class. There isn't much else around GA from what I've found.
