Greetings all! Here’s a new medium sized chopper up for your consideration, easier than a real behemoth to carry but it’ll get the job done.
Steel is .195” x 1 1/2” in 80CRV2 with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to P1000 grit for a satin finish. The robust edge was a tad under .02” before sharpening and it balances at the front of the scales.
Dimensions: 10” OAL, Tip to Scales 5 9/16”
A beautiful blond, stabilized Japanese Privet handle is enhanced with orange G10 liners. It’s finished to 1000 grit and secured with brass pins and lanyards. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare.
There's not a ton of technical info about Privet online but I did find an article where they make arrows from it so I suppose it's gotta be tough and stable and I know it's very hard.
A couple of lengths of orange paracord are included.
Asking only $180 to your door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.
Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.
