I recently made the jump into medium format film photography, but I think a DSLR would have been better for me in terms of how much I use it. So, I'm looking to trade my medium format rig for a good DSLR. I'd prefer a body + lens, but I would entertain a body only, too, depending on the camera. Must be in good shape and work, of course, without problems. Glass needs to be as good as it can be, too. Cameras I'm interested in include the Canon Rebel XT (350D), the Pentax IST*D series (DL and DL2 possibly, depends on the glass and cards you have) and the Nikon D50, although I'm open to possibilities.

The camera I'd like to trade is a Mamiya 645E. This camera ROCKS. It has tons of features, which you can look up, but from memory, it has mirror lockup for those sweet long exposures at night, TTL metering and auto or manual shutter settings, etc. It has the 120 insert for using 120 film, and you can also buy a 220 insert for 220 film, too. Mine has the stock Mamiya 80mm lens, which is still slightly wide-angle on a medium format camera. The 80mm lens is to medium format what the 50mm is to 35mm cameras. I also added a UV filter to the lens and an adapter so I could use my other filters on it (I think I use 56mm sized filters but I'm not 100% sure). I also just bought a Mamiya neck strap with the lugs, etc, so it's all ready to go!

I've shot about a dozen rolls of film through this camera and it's really great. Condition is 9+ out of 10. If you'd like pics or have any questions definitely email me, and please email any offers, too. I have an el-cheapo padded photo bag I will include with it, as well as 7-9 rolls of 120 film in a variety of B&W and color speeds (some Fuji, Ilford and Kodak, too, I think).
