I love these knives. Great as an EDC, though admittedly in the “Medium” size, they are on the larger end of the scale for most EDC’s. Classic lines, and fantastic performance have made them my best selling model.
I usually opt for somewhat flashy liners. Something that really stands out. I made this one a little more subdued. The Grey liners are a nice contrast though admittedly less flashy. Something about this combo makes this knife stand out from the crowd IMHO and I rather like it.
The soul of any knife is the heat-treat. Something I take very seriously. 1080 is a relatively simple steel, but it has just about the right compromise of hardness and toughness when heat-treated properly. This thing will be an heirloom for your kids one day. Each time it is used, you’ll add to the visible patina, and the stories of your adventures with this by your side.
Medium Ricky. This is the updated version of my staple EDC. I sell more of these than any model.

I make knives to afford folks with a quality tool, at a reasonable price. But most importantly, I forge friendships. This knife will be your friend and companion, whether casually or daily. As such, you will develop a trust in it far beyond boundaries of a tool and it’s owner. Perhaps that’s the biggest reason knives appeal to us “Knife People”. But you also foster a relationship with it’s maker, and I with you. This is probably the single most satisfying reward for my work. I literally sweat and bleed with every blade I make. Part of my soul becomes an indelible part of the knife. As a knifemaker, I am not alone. There are many other good makers. There are many makers much better than I. But I strive to give you the best of my ability. A knife worth your hard earned money, and at a reasonable price. When you invest in any handmade knife, it is an investment in the maker as well. For that, I am extremely grateful.
My goal is to make great knives and new friends, and not in that order. If you ever have a problem with a knife I’ve made, you can call or email me and we will work out a solution, even if you've abused it. If you get it, and it isn't what you thought it would be, I'll refund your money and pay the return shipping. Just keep it in the condition you found it. Pretty straight-forward
