I have shied away from making kitchen knives because most cooks and chefs are very particular about the blades they use. However, I am very confident that this one will work very well: I worked the grind all the way up to the spine to make it a very effective slicing tool.
Stock removal from 1/8 inch 1095 steel
Flat grind finished with a 600 grit belt
Stabilized figured maple handle
Overall length: 10 1/2 inches
Blade: 6 1/2 inches
$135 which includes postage to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@gmail.com
