Hey there everybody! Here’s a new tanto I’ve just finished alongside it’s shorter twin. Maybe it should be guardless but I just can’t abide a smooth transition from under the handle to the edge, seems dangerous, so I added a “guardy” nub!

Steel is NitroV with professional HT at 60/61, 1/8” x 7/8” blade . Balances at the front pin.

Hand sanded to 1500 grit for a reflective finish. The edge was about .010” before sharpening.

Dimensions: 11.0” OAL, Tip to Scales 6 9/16”

The handle is Ironwood with Turquoise G10 liners, mosaic center pin and stainless pins. It’s finished to 1200 grit, oiled and waxed.

The premium sheath says “Peace from Strength” in Kanji according to a few translators I checked including the regional communities subforum here at BF.

Was $210. Price is now $195 to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.

I bought this knife’s little brother, if you consider a 5” blade little. I love this knife. It’s comfortable, slicey, stabby, and a great utility blade. I trust this knife so much that I put it in my bug out bag. I have also done business with John more than once and he 100% stands behind his work and reputation. Don’t sleep on this one. $195 is a steal. Pun intended ;)
