Medium to large fixed blade

I am in the market for a medium to large fixed blade knife. I want something mean looking as, it will mainly be for self defense. I would prefer a kydex or other retention based sheath. I plan to fix paracord to the sheath so I can attach it to a belt and run it inside the waistband. I have around $200 to spend. I look forward to seeing some great suggestions. Thank you in advance, if I don't get back to you right away.

Plz define 'large'.

There's the Kabar BK7 (7"), BK5 (8"), and BK9 (9") but I doubt you're going to like wearing them "inside the waistband".

Check out the Custom Fixed Blade Exchange here. There are some real nice ones in there that fit the bill and in your price range. I really like the work of maker Josh Mason.

I saw a real nice Wharncliffe that fit the bill, but someone snatched it up. Great idea though, I will keep checking back there.
