Meerkat-Reverse "S" or Modified Drop Point??

To reverse-or-to not reverse?(I know-both...lol)

I'm impressed by the reverse S in this size of blade (Cricket)...it really cuts into material with little effort.

Thanks for your response. I was leaning that way!:D

I've never used a Reverse "S" blade that small before. Well...Except for a "roofing" utility blade...lol. Ok....That's a little extreme.

I have both, and for general utility I prefer the leaf blade. The reverse S does excel at opening clam packs and a few other chores, but I found out the hard way that the AUS 6 steel is not really strong enough for some of them. :o Fortunately, I was able to straighten the tip back out without breaking it off, and I went back to my Dodo for those jobs. The reverse S MeerKat is a great light to medium duty cutter in a small package. :thumbup:
