Hey guys, I'm going to upgrade to a Leica scope, and I'm selling my Meiji EMZ-5 to fund that.
This is a good condition used scope that I bought from Steve Dunn, this was his personal scope for years, and he got it directly from GRS. This has an original GRS stand, not the newer acrobat style stand, older stand works great and is better for some setups.
This is a top of the line scope for engraving, and in fact, was the default choice for pros, with no competition until the recent Leica scope came around. Some still prefer these over the Leica, as it's much heavier built (metal instead of plastic, etc).
10x eye pieces, with original 0.5X objective lens, that most people use, and a new 0.3X objective lens that I got because I wanted to increase the working distance for ergonomics. I like to be able to sit up straight with my elbows at 90 degrees on top of the engraving block, this allows me to do that, by sacrificing some zoom range. I rarely work at max zoom so it was a great upgrade for me. These cost another $150 or so, but you'd have both to choose what's best for you.
Also has an original CLF ring light, and a newer, variable power LED ring light (chinese, not GRS, works well though).
Asking $1400 shipped CONUS for the whole setup.
