Up for sale, a Mel Nishiuchi Persian liner-lock in mint condition; never used, carried, re-adjusted or re-sharpened. The fit and finish on this knife are easily as good as any I've seen on knives costing several times as much. The action is buttery, the blade is dead centered, the grind is perfectly symmetrical and the tapered liner lockup is early with zero play. The deeply-curved ergonomic handle contour feels great in the hand. I'm the original owner. Mel told me that he considers this particular piece to be one of his favorites in terms of workmanship and materials.

Blade: 3-1/8" full flat-ground ATS-34 heat-treated RC 59/60 by Paul Bros. with a fine hand-rubbed satin finish and a polished stainless ambidextrous thumb disk.

Frame: Titanium liners anodized light blue/green to match the "snowflakes" in the Jade; titanium backspacer anodized light gold to match the Mokume.

Bolsters: Dovetailed Devon Thomas Birdseye Mokume in layers of copper, brass and nickel silver with a hidden pivot.

Handles scales are beautiful Wyoming Snowflake Jade.

4-1/8" closed. Weight is 3.3 oz.
