Mel Pardue 3 1/2" Lockback

This knife is unused but may have been carried as there is some superficial scratches on the bolsters. I am not the original owner so i do not know what the steel is or what the handle material is. (if you know please PM me).
The blade is etched: "PARDUE/008".
Lockup is solid and blade centered when closed.

What's the OAL? The blade is 3.5"?
Is it hand made by Mel or a manufactured knife bearing his name? I saw another similar blade shape smaller knife, 2 9/16" blade with this 008 under his name PARDUE. thanks... Calhoon
