Mel Pardue Damascus and Mammoth Folding Dagger. This is an early Pardue piece I acquired during the early 90's. I have had several Pardue knives and this was my favorite. The knife is signed by Mel Pardue inside on the spine. The knife sports a 3.6” Damascus blade, looks to be gun blued as are the double Damascus bolsters. The knife is 8.2" open. The opening stud is ambidextrous and is file worked. The liner and spacer are both fully file worked on all sides. The scale are premium, cream mammoth with gold tipped screws. Lockup is solid with no blade play. While I carried the knife a few times in when I first got it, I doubt it could be determined by examining the knife (see photos). This knife has sat in my knife collection display for nearly two decades. I sharpened the knife when I acquired it and it is razor sharp. This is a great example of Mel’s early work. SOLD
