Glad you like it. Though to my eye it looks like you took a knife that looked like it had ivory handles, and converted it to yellow Delrin. I'm going to stick with the original look myself.
Great job! I'm sure it doesn't look at all like delrin up close as some folks are mentioning. Micarta's got tons of layers and texture that just doesn't show up on the pics. BTW That yellow cast in the kitchen pics is likely due to flourescent lighting.
Just want to say thanks guys for the comments, I appreciate them! Nice to see the differing opinions. I was surprised also at how easy it was, you couldn't streak or blotch the dye even if you wanted to. The micarta is so smooth finished the dye tries to bead up on the surface and then just breaks across the whole thing when its touched. Pretty much the total opposite of how dye behaves on leather lol. Its kind of a honey color, ea42 you're right I'm sure about the lights also! Thanks again all, I hope to carry this one for years to come
