Just to make it plainly clear, the knife posted by me is NOT my knife!!!!

In my dreams maybe, but in reality I could not even come close to affording something that nice.

Someone that nice is the owner who was generous enough to loan it to me.

I cannot thank the owner enough for his generosity. :)
 
I am REALLY kicking myself for not going for the 1 of 300. I didn't dig the SH on them but they are really growing on my. You guys all have some beautiful blades. Especially the hand shaped micarta.

I'm really diggin' that handle profile. I'm a big fan of grips, on a knife, a gun, whatever, that allows a good grip without tearing up the hand. Is that G10?
 
Yea, its G10, and I agree about the texturing. As long as its not deep and sharp I love it, this new version is very nice! I've got a couple that are downright pointy, not good on a chopper.
 
Can't wait to see the sheath you are making for it. :D What style are you going with ?.

The owner wants a really nice set up for this big a knife. The basic HOSS or the Ultimate HOSS I'm not sure which off the top of my head. An inlay or nice texturing might sneak in there as well.

Garth, I will be sure to post a pic in this thread when its done! :) So far I'm still patterning, lots and lots of patterning. :p
 
Very beautiful blades! The hand shaped handles are hard not to love.
 
Oh dang! That is beautiful! Can't wait till my orange black g10 comes next week. This is truly an awesome blade. When jerry made all the hoopla, I was thinking.. marketing tecnique .. but now seeing pics.. it truly was epic ;)
 
Ah crap! I knew it! I'm either gettin' old or the contact cement fumes are finally causing drain bamage. :eek:
