I have pics of my latest skinner and tried to post them in the gallery section and got an error message that said basically I wasn't allowed to post there...

Do I have to pay to post pics in the gallery?

Without a paying membership, I don't believe you can post pics directly. I use photobucket, there are many free picture-hosting services you can use.
