Members cannot send PM

Hello, it appears that other members cannot send me PMs. It seems that if I send them a message they can respond but they cannot start a conversation with me. Is this a setting I can reset?

There’s a likely chance you have your message settings set to “people who follow me” instead of all members, you can go to your preferences in your profile main menu and there’s a drop down menu with those two options.

Here's something you can try.

1. Click on your username in the upper right corner and select "Contact Details".
2. There are two options for "Accept Conversations From". If "People You Follow Only" is in the box you will need to change it to "Members Only".

Under the ‘privacy’ page near the bottom is the same pull-down menu option. Is it also ‘members only’ there too?

I just tested that, and when I changed it under Contact Details, it was changed under Privacy also. Worked vice versa as well.

This might be it.

The other member may have maxed out their allotted number of conversations. Messages in an existing conversation do not add to the total number. That's why they can send messages in the current one, but cannot start another.
 
The option to message you is still not in the menu that comes up when I tap your avatar, while it’s there for everybody else in this thread.

Alright, somehow it got unchecked again... does it show that you can start one now?
