How about the Same tests on the new knives as the Original Knives.

The Symetrically Sharpened INFI will likely not cut as many Cuts on a Rope as the Asymetrical, But should still get in the 1,600 range.

The Swamp Rats will not cut anything like the Basics in Soft clean Rope but will out flex and out cut in hard materials like Cement Blocks and Mild Steel.

I like the idea of more public Testing.(Saves me a lot of effort)

papathud, are you keeping records? When are you going to go public with this information?

If that box is marked #2, where's #1 and how many more are there afterwards??? Go ahead, show the pic. We can take it, our hearts are strong enough to handle the shock.
(Mabey!)

It's indeed great info! And I also want one of those caps and jackets:cool:

Cobalt,
Great post, do you have more of Turbers test thread. I thought I had some of it copied but I don't and it is now gone (lost in the purge of old threads)

Skunk,
I didn't get a box with mine.....Jerry, where's my box, you know the one marked Prototype ;)

:D:D

No I did not save it, which pisses me off. We lost so much from the past. Kinda reminds me of the original knifeforums that is now gone, before bladeforums and the current knifeforums. There was some really good stuff in those old threads and it is now all gone.

I think you will find all the kf threads are intact... they are just in the new software...

I think there are threads that go back to 98

None of my tests mean anything.

I would like to see The Factory's results on the newer Symetricaly sharpened knives.

Push Cutting Tests in soft material with a Busse will Wear you out, with either edge type.

You to Jerry! I miss all you guys!
But having fun in a new field and enjoying life in general.

Happy Holidays to all!

MIKE TURBER!!!! It's the Ghost Of Basic Testing Past! Mighty glad to hear that life's treating you well. I notice some island in your profile location, so that's gotta be good. :D

I hope that you don't mind that I archived the Basic 9 vs CS Trailmaster testing you did and posted out to the web ages ago, that has since disappeared. I re-exposed it at the link below. If you don't want that out there in cyberspace, please let me know and I'll yank it.

Wishing you the best always!
