Memorial Day

I ate a nice dinner with my mother this Memorial Day. RIP to all the fallen soldiers. Prayers given for the rest of us to find peace in our lives.

As a footnote, the Casualty Assistance Calls Officer (CACO) who notified us and handled the funeral was a big, grim Marine. I later found out he conducted 42 casualty notifications. Tough duty.
