Whats everyone doin for the holiday weekend??????

Hopefully getting outside!!!

The misses and myself are going to a bicycle and music festival and camping all weekend. Should be a great time. Temps in the lower 80s during the day mid 60s at night....All sun baby! Got the gear all ready to go. First outing in my new Hennesey....

depending on weather and my joints I'm going to try to summit a few of the 7,000 footers around here, hike back 15 miles or so, set up camp to do dayhikes out of, we'll see.

The wife and I are planning on just staying in and relaxing.

Watch lots of movies and eat way too much junk food! :D

Got a ton of work to do for the business as well, will be spending alot of time on the PC over the weekend.

I specifically avoid all designated outdoor rec areas on Memorial and Labor day weekends. WAY too many people. As a matter of fact, I usually specifically plan a trip for the weekend before or after, works great.

I'm hoping to go to Salt Lake City for the WSBK race. However, that's dependent on the weather. I was planning on leaving Saturday and the current forecast is 60° and rain; I'm not sure I want to spend 300 miles on the motorcycle in that. :grumpy:

Work and Drink. Friday, Saturday day...work, in the evening, a fight party. Sunday, Flea Market in the morning, drinking in the evening. Monday, work.

Adopting new puppies!

We said goodbye to Tasha in January of 2009, as some of you might remember. We're finally ready. Like Tasha, they're long coat Akitas, and Gracie looks so much like Tasha it's freaky. Her brother Hero has very unusual coloring for an Akita and BLUE EYES! I'll properly introduce them once they're here, but here's a sneak peek.

Here they are at about six weeks.

They're a bit bigger now. . . (16 weeks!)

My wife and I are going to Waco to spend the weekend with her parents

I will make time to go back to a Park they have there and do some knife testing and hiking.

Hope the weather holds out and that all of you on these posts have a safe weekend..

I just want to add.....

Hopefully everyone (at least those in the US) will take some time to remember the reason behind this holiday over the weekend - to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

You guys all be safe- have a great time- and remember what holiday is all about as stated above-Thanks

PEACE at the WLC with 50+ friends. Hope some of you guys can make it up.

+1 to that.

I will be working on Monday, hopefully, and I am not complaining. I may do some round my house work on the trees that are downed, but that is about it for the outdoors.

Sat/Sun building a more accessable front porch/steps for an elder neighbor.
Monday I'm moving one of SWMBO's cousins from S. Central Ks to S. central Ne.
