MemorialDayGanzaaa Specs And Pricing. . . . . YOWZA!!!!!

Jerry just sent me a private email and told me not to tell... but he will be releasing an even better Battle Mistress next week with a satin 11in. blade that is .52 in thick. It will come in at under a grand, and you get a free left over SOB with the .52 in version. He will announcing this new Ganza on Tuesday. I just though you guys should know in case you want to hold off for now, so you have plenty of cash ready for the Tuesday Ganza.
:D

Safetyman you just lucked out. As fate would have it, I received an email that another wait list I was on just came due, so I'll have to sit this one out. Good luck gents!

Since the MOABM is basically a really fat FBM LE it could lovingly be referred to as a FattLE Mistress without being offended. Anyone else think of mre's when you start saying/reading Mother Of All BM's... :foot: :p

Jerry added some sweet handle options for the upcoming ganzaaaa! Nice selection, Boss! [emoji106] That MOABM is one beautiful chunk of INFI.
Hey pokey, is black g10 not an option for this one? Thanks

Nasty.

I was thinking the MOABM needed a different name too. Don't get me wrong. It's an awesome knife but MOA? It's an Off Duty FBM. I want to hold out hope there will one day be a .410" thick NMFBM. Now THAT would be a MOABM. I like the FBM and FFBM varieties but the only downside is the length of the blade. I like the NMFBM way more than the FBM. The FBM doesn't need to be fatter. It needs to be longer. Just my opinion and I'll probably go for one anyway. Sorry to sound like a cynic. Mostly just thinking out loud.

Still crossing my fingers we will see a B13 someday soon.

I get your point on longer vs fatter, that is why I sprung for the MOABolo as the first MOA... Busse I have ever bought, it wasn't kids shotgun gauge thick but thick enough and longer than the NMFBM with a nice sweet spot hanging out there in front for chopping. I am looking forward to when mine finally shows up on my doorstep.

A B13 would be sweet, especially if done around .20 thick as a saber grind. That might require a dedicated B13 thread to make happen.

I am liking that thINFImandu way more than I should right now. :)

I'm one of those dummies that didn't go for the MOABolo because I didn't realize how long the blade actually was. Thought it was a recurve NMFBM with a thicker stock. Still kicking myself for that.

Yeah .20" sounds good to me. Probably no more than that unless they had a thick and thin version. I'm all for a B13 thread. I'll think about starting one. Don't want to overwhelm Jerry though. The B8 and ASH2 threads were pretty crazy.

I'm going for an INFImandu for both of my kids and one for myself. They need upgrades from their SAR3s.
Let me guess....yours will be in the flavor of bruiser LOL.

So the handle options on the INFIManDu have pulled me back in. I knew I could resist orange and green but now I'm in. :)

I see no Tequila option on the MOABM, I am disappointed!!

If I am going to pay extra for the handle I'm leaning more toward black canvas over blue liners for a user RMD that feels perfect in hand. I already have a .17 satin sr101 harpoon bruiser rmd to fill the pretty niche. Standard thin rmd handles fit my wife's hands much better than mine. I also have to keep resale in mind as with a family and animals tp provide for that I did not have 6 years ago when I started buying Bussekin so I have had to switch from "make more, invest more" approach to more of a $aturated "like kind exchange" method.

Yes handle options are nice, it seems lots of people are able to resist the company colored handles, whether orange/green or yellow/black.

how to you purchase/first time

Well... have you ever tried to win your girl that one-of-a-kind-she's-gotta-have-it stuffed animal at a carnival/fair? A ganza is a little like that only over the internet. The upside to a ganza is you aren't out any money if you don't score. :D

The MOABM will go nicely with my Fat MOAB! I'm putting my hat in the ring. Hope I don't get called into work!
