Memory Lane

Brian, I haven't been able to dig into your thread until today. Great stuff! Wow a lot of memories in this thread. I remember most of those knives and a lot of the pics from over the years.

That was a helluva winter we had that year you were here. We went over 100 inches of snow. I was glad to see you go. LOL :D Seriously I regret that I was never able to get over your way. That would have been a privilege for me to sit and share stories with you.

Thanks again for the thread and the wisdom. I'm a big fan my long time friend.

Lol, thanks Dave! Yeah, I was griping at my neighbors one day (I love Shorty and Dianne and we still talk to this day) about the description they gave me of winter to expect. They were all like "this isn't normal! You brought this crap with you!" and I was all like "Really? I sure as h_ll never saw any sh_t like this in south Tennessee so I'm pretty darn sure I didn't bring it with me!" lol They were great though. We would have never made it without their help. I still hope to buy Shorty a good stainless Fiddleback for hunting for all he did for me up there.

And yes, one of my few regrets is not getting to hook up with you and talk in person Dave. Maybe one day I will be wealthy enough to buy a summer home in Michigan, that is a goal now lol.
