Memphis Belle Film knife ?

If I had to take a guess, I would say that knife was a gift to Billy Zane from the production company of Memphis Belle for appearing in the movie. I doubt it was used on film. Movie companies will often make up engraved items for cast and crew members. For example, I have a Pirates of the Caribbean 2 crew watch which was especially made for the cast and crew of the film. Not all the cast members are paid millions of dollars like the stars, so these little giveaways (usually presented after filming has concluded) are appreciated.
