This 4.5" "Back Pocket" trapper by Rick is an un marked proto type. It is the only one in this size,with this blade style,to my knowledge. It is as perfect as any one could ask.
154 CM ss blade is deep hollow ground & wicked sharp,it is a full 1/8" thick. It has a pronounced & symetrical swedge,centers perfect w/ closed.Crescent nail nick,firm snap,like a 6 or 7,but "pinch able" as well.8" opened up,blade is 3.50" from tip to handle scales,with a 3.25" cutting edge. Outstanding fit & finish,smooth action,mechanically outstanding. Condition is pre owned by me only ,excellent,never used ,only handled,was a "safe queen".
Handle scales are natural linen micarta.Inlaid ss shield, "N.Y. Knife Co." style,what a gorgeous shield for this full size folder. The liners are ss & mill relieved.The pins & hardware are ss,except for the pivot pin is titanium. Pivot hardware is large & beefed up. This knife locks up real great like a hard working work knife should.It feels great in the hand & is somewhat a compact carry,it's thin.This is not a dainty knife though,its strong!
