Not micarta but drop dead gorgeous curly maple.Rick made my wife a paring knife out of this same wood. It has "moved" , less than micarta knives,sitting side by side on a magnet strip over years. I'd say it is one of the most stable hardwoods I can attest to. Beautiful depth,fire the eye can see in hand but I could not do it justice with my pics.
This is a small one,it's 3.25" closed. Open it is 5-5/8" Blade measures 2-3/8" with 2-1/8" of cutting edge. Deep hollow grind,it's like a razor. Crescent nail pull & drawn swedge.Spring is flush in all half stop positions.Blade centers perfect/closed. Mill relieved ss liners. All hardware ,pins,are ss except for the pivot pin is titanium. Glass smooth,fantastic snappy walk n talk. Pull is a medium "5". Outstanding fit & finish.Knife is pre owned,un used. 154 CM blade & spring. Blade has a high satin finish. Awesome knife. No maker wait time,ready to go.
