I bought this knife in 2010, for reference. It is in very good user condition: I have sharpened the edge myself, and it is sharp. The backspring sits below the handle in both the open and closed positions, see pics.

Sorry I did not list it: Closed OAL was called 3 5/8" when I bought it, but I measure it as slightly more although clearly less than 3 7/8". SOLD
