I'm afraid you'll find, if you hang around here long enough, that probably has happened to just about everyone. As long as you aren't out anything more than a couple of e-mails, chalk it up to experience and go on to the next deal.

what the hell are you talking about ? i never said i sent the merlin out. i said I wouldnt send it out untill i recived the Emerson. In my Email i sent to Hawkbill was tuesday and i told him to watch out for you.I told him you were ignoring me. i barely got any email replies and when i did they were days later. I dont remember our deal ever falling through? The last email i got from you was Monday and you said you would sent the Emerson out the next day. that was last i heard from you. then 2 days later all of a sudden you post you want to trade the emerson for a harpy!. if u didnt want to trade with me thats all you had to say instead of letting me sit there and wait. I think we can see who the troll is in this picture Mr. Mental. I put the merlin back up for trade Cuz i Knew you were a Prick and it wouldnt go threw. and if im so Dis honest , maybe I can get Josh in here to prove you wrong . Bitch.

I didnt recive any emails about a phone number? the only ones i have are about the condition of the knife. and that was it. Im not lieing about a single thing. everything i said is the gods honest truth. Are you gonna cry more about this or just let it go? Apparentley Your email or mine isnt working right cuz i didnt get any of the emails your talking about. Do you want to try this again ? sorry for being a D%ick, i just really wanted the CQC7 and things kinda went to hell.

Sorry, But I don't think you were right in e-mailing someone telling them to watch out for him just b/c a trade fell thru. I know if someone e-mailed me and I was getting ready to do a trade with this guy, I would most likely call it off, that’s a little extreme when you didn't loose out or suffer at all with your dealings with the member in question.

I had a deal in the works to buy a knife from Rev Jch, but I end up not having the cash and had to pass. Did he e-mail people warning them about the no money having TheBadGuy? Nope, as a matter of fact, he posted a good feedback in the GB&U about me.


I understand your frustration. When I receive an e-mail from someone about a trade and I am excited about something offered, I get super annoyed when I sit here and wait for a reply. But that doesn't mean they did anything wrong.

You never know if it was a problem with his server. In my area, my high speed internet provider is doing construction in my area and my connection has been going out damn near everyday for a few hours and will continue for the next few weeks. Thank God for Net Zero's 10 free hour a month deal!!! That's my back-up

I don't remember where I heard it(My Sig line) I know it's not my original thought though.
 
Just wondering.SP why do you ask that they ship first?I thought it was customary for both parties to ship at the same time.That the way I have always done it except for the time I offered to ship first on candlepower forums because I was a new member that no one knew.
 
OK.Makes sence.BTW when I work a trade with someone I always include my ph # that way it gives the other person a way to check and see if the ph # and the address match.It would not be to hard for someone to scam someone with a mailboxes ect. address or a address to a empty house.
