Merry Christmas porch dwellers! My wife gave me a new traditional Leatherman Multitool (the Bond). I’m busy with a standing rib roast on the grill so no use yet, but the Leatherman is ready. The Case Whittler on the small blue table got to do the opening honors for our gifts this morning. OH
Ps. Who else has a pair of Fruit Cake socks, eh?

Merry Christmas! I’m heading in to start my shift at work but have this beauty in my pocket.

I got a couple of French pocketknives for Christmas!
(Actually, one was for my birthday last week and one for Christmas, so I opened the box containing both of them last Tuesday. They're from my wife, but not really surprises, since I picked them out and ordered them on Black Friday.)
Both are from the Coursolle Cutlery, one a rosewood Pradel pattern and the other a brass Plowman knife.




And, although this thread is a photo album, I'll include a link to one of my favorite medleys of Christmas music (they're probably Christmas spirituals, and kind of remind me of high-class barbershop/gospel quartet on steroids). Best 12.5 minutes of my day today!

I figured this would be a good thread to post my Christmas gift from none other than Âchillepattada and P philippe . It is a beautiful alpin, and only my second knife in ram's horn. The porch brings us great friendships!

A great pleasure for us to send you this knife.

Curiously Passion-France is a brand created by a..... German amateur.
He was already a great collector and connoisseur and used his very good knowledge about Thiers to create his company.
He asked Robert Beillonnet (twice best french knifemaker , "Meilleur ouvrier de France") to customize some traditional French pattern as this Alpin. And he found a very good maker in Thiers to make the knives.

Knife content - Long Bratwurst with cream cheese and raw onions with an old Spyderco Phil gave me 30 years ago.

And I came home to this wonderful 3D Christmas/New Years card from Paris!!!
