Merry and safe Xmas to one and all.
I can guarantee two things this Christmas.
1-It will not snow here (in fact it will be a total fire ban) temps in the mid to high 30s degC.
2-I might get my 2013 knife before Xmas.

And 3 I will be doing my best to reduce the worlds population of Queensland Tiger Prawns whilst on duty at Wollongong Fire Station.

Lol, and perhaps the odd Ale or two to wash those Prawns down Meako? maybe not on duty!
 
Merry Christmas, Duncan!!! And all the best wishes to each and every one of you BF traditional knife lovers. And to the kitty lovers among us as well.

It's been a good year overall, and I am thankful for everything and everyone here has contributed to that feeling. I did my fourth Christmas Eve Gift give away this year and I wish I could give everyone a nice traditional knife gift, but unfortunately I don't have enough to go around. Makes me kind of sad actually.

Enjoy your holidays and be sure to post up all those new traditional knives you receive this Christmas!

This year Christmas is reminding me of the ones of my childhood - poor in money, rich in friends.

I'm not much of a participant, especially not to the point of considering myself a regular, but I sure do enjoy hanging out and taking in everything that goes on here. I've always been more of a listener than a talker. There are lots of good people here & it does my heart good to be a small part of it.

Unfortunately it politically incorrect to drink a dozen or so beers whilst on duty these days.I'm pretty good at playing catchup though.

At the airport heading home (and feeling odd without my pocket knife). But, I wanted to check in and wish everyone a happy holiday and thank you for being part of my daily life. Cheers to you all and I'm looking forward to seeing all your Christmas loot in the coming days!
