That's because they are too damn fat to be slicers. That why I only own a Skinny Ash, Culti and CABS. Those are all tough as crap knives while being great slicers. Well the Ash isn't but it's better than the regular Ash.

Give me any Busse, and when I am done with the edge, it will make hairs leap off your arm, make curlies with the paper.

Even my .32 coated Ash1 was no problem. FBMLE .32 same. Just some of their recent models had obtuse edges, especially towards the tip.

They sure fixed that with the cabs!!!!! Laser sharp from the get go. My hand convexed edges are just as sharp on the other knives I have.

Never have bought a production knife that has a better edge than my CABS. I love Bark River and have a dozen or so but the Busse guys got it right with the CABS. Of course, my first Fiddleback kicks its ass on the handle. I have a Bushie and it just looks and feels right!
