Well, its 1.27 am Thursday Morning here Folks.... New Zealand is the first to see the light in the world, and I am sitting here still making silly labels for the presents - then I will hit the hay :D

Christmas... a crazy, stressful, full on part of the year - but I wouldnt change it for the world, its a time that effects me a lot, for many reasons good and sad, I get to see my great friends, be with my beautiful family, to visit friends - we hug each other, and we sit down and just soak up the atmosphere of life-long friends sitting and enjoying each others company - for a time where nothing is calling us away - we can just truly enjoy....

Its also a time where I miss my Brother incredibly, Andrew - he was nearly 5 years older than me - hes been gone a long time now, but still the tears well up in my eyes when I think of him :o, also - it was also only 5 years ago nearly to this day when I lost my best friend in a motorbike accident - he passed away while I held his hand - both these guys were just great people - one of life's true tragedy's to have lost them - but we all have a sad tale to tell - so to me its just as important for a time for reflection and fond remembrance.

I also relish being part of this fantastic Family - I hope I dont sound silly, but I really treasure this place - because of the people here whom frequent the Traditionals and make it a warm and inviting place to be when you need to get your daily dosage of knives.

So to you my friends...please have a Merry Christmas - most importantly have a very safe one and a healthy one, and thank you for this place that we all are, I hope theres a place on the Porch for me.

Have a wonderful holiday and time with your friends and family.

Well said. Merry Christmas to you my friend, and to all here on the "porch".

I hope I'm not sitting in someone else's seat! If so, I can get up and sit over on the steps.:)

Cheers!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good knife!
Maybe if there's room I can stand and lean against the railing until I earn a seat.

All the very best to you and yours my Friend. Christmas for me is one of memories of Family and old friends, I wish you good memories Duncan.

Warmest regards

Robin

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you Duncan and to all here at this forum.
I wish you all peace and happiness in 2015

Dave

And a HJ in every stocking! :D

To all the members of this forum, you've made this Christmas better than I had hoped.

What I've learned here from you has bled over to someone I dearly love enough that she presented me with an elegant little knife I'll treasure always.

The generosity and fellowship I've seen here reinforces my belief that good people will always come together to make a difference in the lives of others. I feel honored to have conversed with a few of you, learned from all of you, and been member of this forum.

Thank you for sharing your love for knives from a simpler time, along with stories and photos that take us all back to those times.

Merry Christmas everyone!
