..... yes the concept of a "White Christmas" is VERY foreign to us here !!! T Shirts, shorts, thongs (the foot kind) and sunburn are the norm !!! Growing up we HAD to do the big hot meal (roasts etc) for Christmas lunch but finally everyone realised that cold cuts and salad made much more sense...!!! For us this year it will be cold sliced ham, some other meats, oysters and prawns... :)

... I am back on deck 30 Dec but am on call right over the break... pound of flesh and all that ;)
 
And when I went to take the pics of my pups for Christmas this year we had forgotten to stock up on "treats" to keep them interested... this resulted in an "industrial action" and protest until such time the treats were provided...till that time this was the only pic allowed....

Andy, I seem to recall you mentioning somewhere else what breed they are, but I have forgotten. Could you let us know? They are good looking pups for sure.
 
They are English Setters mate. Full brother and sister but from different litters.

That's usually what Xmas looks like here.... However, it looks like we are having a green Xmas. It's been raining for a while. Suppose to be 15c for Xmas. That's 59F ..... Haven't seen that warm of a December in a long time....

Thanks all... just finished at the local shops (it is the 24th here already) and as usual for the last 10 years I was there when they opened the doors and out before it got too insane... I wore my " Caution - Grumpy Old Man" T Shirt but still people didn't get the message .... ;) :D

Home now and settled in, all being well I wont leave the house again till sometime after the 27th !!!!!!

Tim.... what is all that freaking white stuff ??? Drop a box of flour or something.... ;) I need to go fire up the air conditioning now....


BTW - I love Montana, drove the length of it and did some wandering around there some years ago, fond memories of Mt Helena and snow..!!!

Strangely enough, we have very little snow this Christmas..
.. some blame global warming.. others are suspicious of the imported nuclear meltdown treated INFI.. personally, I'm just glad that there's less shoveling on my to do list.
