Merry Christmas everyone! What a day. I was opening a toy for my little cousin, and stabbed my hand right under my thumb. Had to get 3 stitches, and doctor says I might have nicked my tendon. It's not Christmas over here until I hurt myself. Just a reminder to be careful.

Christmas time and my indicator species are out of their hibernation holes singing their own Christmas Carol. I have a warm spring on the other side of my second driveway and I don't use poisons/pesticides/anything in my yard and nature takes care of itself and everything else. My woods and yard are in a natural balance. In the end, my point is, it's freaking the end of December and the frogs and toads are out signing to each other. I don't ever remember it being like this in my part of N. Ga. It's a balmy 77 deg. today and I'm about 30 minutes N. of ATL.
