I don't generally create a GBU thread to leave feedback for a customer of mine, but there was recently a thread about Merz that wasn't exactly flattering so I thought I'd share my experience in dealing with him.
He contacted me to inquire about sharpening his Reate Hills. I'd seen the other thread so I kindly asked him to share his side of the story as I didn't want to write him off completely due to a single deal that went sideways, but also need to protect myself from unnecessary headaches.
He was very understanding and confirmed what I'd figured; that he didn't understand the whole "net to me" thing as it applies to paypal and that both sides thought the other was being ridiculous so he backed out of the deal.
Not the best way to conduct business, but I don't think totally unredeemable either. So I went ahead and accepted his business.
He paid promptly, absurdly so actually. Before he'd even shipped me the knife. He didn't bust my balls about time frames or anything and even gave my service a shout out on instagram.
His vernacular annoys some people apparently and he can't punctuate a sentence to save his life, but I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again. A+
