In attempting to send a message, I received this error message: "You have reached the limit (250) for conversation messages." What does this mean and how can I begin to message again?

You need to use the Leave Conversation option on one or more or your conversations (message threads).

Things look different depending on your platform/browser, but if you open Conversations (envelope icon) you can either select a bunch of them at once and then choose Leave Conversation on the bar that pops up, or go into any single conversation and hit Leave Conversation.

That will free up some space.

If you want to preserve conversations, there's an Export function that will let you archive them on your computer before leaving them (deleting them) here.
