Yep. there's been a lot of crashing this year in qualifications. And a lot of rain has kept those racers off the track for a few days. We actually had flood warnings.

These days, I try to leave town for the race weekend. Ups the nut quotient around here, and everyone on the road thinks they're driving at the track or something.

Know the feeling - When I was there, even though it was empty, I had this vision of hundreds of thousands of hot, sweaty people, packed together so closely that they were joined at the armpits by suction, when they raised their arms to cheer. Better on TV.
 
Hehehe Bruise age my avatar 16 years, add 50 pounds (dont think my son will be as over-weight as me), add a bunch of tattoos, and youd have me. :D
