In the upper right corner under my user name are some statistics: Messages (followed by a number) and Likes (followed by a number). The Likes I can find, but I have looked all over my various profile pages and can not find any messages or links to same. I'm concerned that there might be something or someone I should be responding to, but I'm unable to find anything. Could someone please tell me what this means and how to access these messages?

I've speculated that this might refer somehow to responses that have taken place within post threads, but I'm not able to confirm that or convince myself that that is the case.

"Messages" are just the posts you make in threads. If you click on the number it'll show you the list.

EDIT: Yeah, after posting this the number of "messages" increased by one. All clear now.
