I was messing around with two of my favourite Bushcraft knives today.
My little old ML Knife that I'd handled myself and my new Mark Wohlwend Pitdog Mora.
Both are nice and sharp~

I'm really loving this new PDM, it's definitely the best carver in my collection, it notches really precisely so is great for traps~

The little ML is still an awesome blade though, I think you could use this all day long and not get any hot spots~

I also did some truncating but didn't risk the PDM for this, I'm pretty sure it would be ok but why risk it when I have my sturdy JK Hiker at hand, for a stout knife this ain't all that shabby at carving either ~

I'd been trying to make a trap that Doc Canada had posted but try as I might I couldn't get it to balance, I think I needed a rock as the weight instead of wood. I finished up making a quick figure 4 instead just so I could finish on a positive note !
