  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

A couple of times recently I found myself in a motel room needing a spoon. Yes, I could have just packed a spoon, but this way I got to buy another knife ;)
Never heard of "Poler" before. Seems well made and qualifies for Thrifty Thursday. I think its the same one Kabar sells under their name. I'm sure its made in China, but country of manufacture is not indicated anywhere which seems odd. Not on the box, sheath or tool.
Spoon has been tested and worked fine  :D

I recently purchased a LionSteel micarta Slim Shuffler. I've been so impressed with it, that I bought the titanium version also. Carried several times last week. These are great knives :)
Titanium goodness:

It’s not the knife that puts a smile on my face but the tang stamp. Made for Hoffritz, brings back wonderful memories. The most exciting store. As a kid Hoffritz was amazing. Looking in the window that held thousands of different knives, it was hard to believe. 134CB95F-7F0C-41BD-81DC-EA4272C1D8C5.jpegC38BD9CA-275D-4423-8EC6-69F48E08F91C.jpeg
