Metal polish

What is the best metal polish for taking the tarnish off steel blades? I have always used Flitz but wondered if anyone ever found anything better. Thanks

Flitz is excellent.

So are MAAS, and Simichrome.


Those are the 3 best I've ever used.

Nev-R Dull is pretty good too but IMO not in the same class as the three above.


Definitely interested to hear if anyone's found something better.

Fastest I've found for steel is Mothers Mag wheel polish in the automotive section of your local superstore. Seems to work on steel much faster than flitz or simichrome and it's fine enough that there's zero chance of scratches.
