Metalurgical Opinions?

Anthropomorphism, or attributing human characteristics to objects, is not ( strictly speaking ) a requirement here. It does, however, make things vastly more fun.

Sort of the difference between renting "Hello Dolly" on tape down at the video store to watch on your television, and getting good seats near the stage and orchestra to see "Hello Dolly" done live on the Broadway stage.
 
Got to agree. Some knives have no soul. Others, they speak to you of what they are, who made them and when you do handle one, feels like an old friend.

I just chalk it up to the really real in asia not necessarily being the same as what is really real in north america. ( I don't include Reservations as being in north american, but somewhere else altogether, kinda. ) Somehow the rules are just different.
